Introduction
Hey there! I'm Oussama Bouzalim, a full-time software engineer at Mijane Technologies, and oh boy do I love it here. I was assigned to write some blog posts because apparently AI took over. I guess I'm not completely jobless after all.
Anyway, I'm writing this specifically to shine a light on our new Portal and Engineering Blog. These were the CEO's ideas; he wanted a way to improve communication with clients, and in this blog post, I will break down how that's going to happen.
What's the Mijane Technologies Portal?
Good question. We've decided to build out this portal after it was pending for a while. The idea in general is to have clients communicate directly with the MT (this alias was also the CEO's idea) staff. In other words, anyone assigned to organizations we work with will be able to use this portal to inform us about any updates on their end (projects, issues, feature requests, etc.) using a ticket system. This means you open tickets with your message, then our staff team will be informed and start working on your request.
What's the Mijane Technologies Blog?
Good question again! This blog is the CEO's move to let our clients know who they're working with. It will basically contain all company updates, views, developments, engineering, etc. We will also use this portal to inform you when we go bankrupt.
We will also share (by "we" I mean mostly me) our ways of handling software. We're a software development company after all, so we'd love to share our own vision and methods when working, such as design decisions, methodologies, tech stacks, development workflows, deployment strategies, security practices, and so on and so forth. This will help you gain a better view of our company, whether you're trying to work with us, or if you're just generally curious or trying to learn.
What is this blog going to look like in the future?
Another good question. Well, I'm hoping it will be stacked with useful content and stuff that we could use to enhance trust between us and whoever has decided to work with us. Other than that, this alone looks like a pretty promising idea, and we're willing to keep up the good work on it for as long as we can.
And that's pretty much it for this post. It was pretty short. Hopefully this thing works out! Stay tuned for more content.
