About Pursuit

What is Pursuit?

Pursuit is grant discovery and application management software for nonprofits and grant writers, launching soon from Mijane Technologies. It finds funding that fits, checks eligibility, runs each application with your team and tracks every award’s reports.

When can we start using Pursuit?

Pursuit is launching soon. Book a preview and we’ll walk you through it around your own funding search, then let you know as soon as it opens to new organizations.

Who is Pursuit for?

Organizations that apply for grants: 501(c)(3) public charities, fiscally sponsored projects, government or tribal entities and other nonprofits. If your organization awards grants instead, Granted is the product for you.

How does Pursuit work with Granted?

Pursuit is for organizations that apply for grants; Granted is for organizations that award them. Rounds run on Granted appear among your matches, and an award from a Granted funder becomes a shared record: the funder sees requirement status and the evidence you submit, never your drafts or internal notes.

Finding grants

Where do the opportunities come from?

Four places: federal notices from Grants.gov, funder websites that Pursuit watches for changes, funding rounds run by funders on Granted, and opportunities your team enters or imports. Each one keeps its source and reference number.

How is the match score worked out?

Each score blends mission alignment, geography, budget size and your history with the funder. The detail page shows every factor’s score, the profile fields behind it and a confidence level. Pursuit ranks; your team decides what to pursue.

Does Pursuit check eligibility before we apply?

Yes. Each opportunity opens with a pre-check built from the funder’s own notice: every rule is quoted word for word, red flags such as a SAM.gov registration or a required cost share are called out, and required documents are checked against your library.

Applications and teamwork

Does Pursuit write our applications with AI?

No. Pursuit fills in facts from your verified profile, suggests answers your team has already approved and reads notices and award letters for rules, dates and obligations, quoting each one. It can draft an award report from approved outcomes, but a person always edits and attests before anything is sent.

Can our whole team work on an application together?

Yes. Each application has owners, tasks and due dates, with roles for owner, grant writer, finance, program lead and reviewer, and reviewers sign off before anything is submitted.

Can we reuse answers we’ve already written?

Yes. A shared answer library and a verified organization profile keep core information consistent, and approved answers are suggested where they fit.

Can we bring our existing grant tracker?

Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel file, map its columns to Pursuit’s fields once, and rows that match records already in Pursuit are merged rather than duplicated. Our team can do the import with you during setup.

After the award

Does Pursuit help after we win a grant?

Yes. Each award gets its own record with its terms, requirements, owners, evidence lists and payments, and every requirement goes on the same calendar as your applications.

Does Pursuit track report deadlines?

Yes. Report dates, award requirements and supporting evidence sit on one calendar, next to the applications still in progress.

Data, setup and pricing

Who can see our organization’s information?

Your team, according to their roles. Funders see only the profile fields you mark as shared; everything else is released on request or kept private, and you can preview your profile as a funder would see it.

How long does Pursuit take to set up, and what does it cost?

Setup depends on how many grants, documents and past applications you bring over; our team does the configuration and trains your staff on your own grants. Pricing depends on the size of your team, and after a short call we send a clear quote with no hidden fees.
