Delaware County grants. Found and managed.
A local guide to Delaware County funders, from Media-based grantmakers to county housing dollars, from a team based in Glenolden.
Grants for Delaware County nonprofits.
Delaware County is compact and densely settled, with inner-ring suburbs along the Philadelphia line, older river towns and the City of Chester on the Delaware. Many nonprofits here work on food security, housing stability, youth programs and family health, often serving several small municipalities at once.
Much of the local funding is anchored in Media, the county seat. The Foundation for Delaware County runs grant programs and maternal and child health work that trace back to the sale of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, and it helped the county set up its first public health department. The county’s Office of Housing and Community Development administers CDBG, HOME and Emergency Solutions Grants funds, while Chester City, Haverford Township and Upper Darby Township receive CDBG directly from HUD.
Regional funders add another layer, including United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and the Barra Foundation’s Catalyst Fund. Pursuit keeps these county and regional deadlines in the same pipeline as state and federal ones.
Mijane Technologies is based at 409 W South Ave in Glenolden, so Delaware County is where our team works every day.
